Mats Inc. Launches New Sustainable Multipurpose Sports Flooring

Mats Inc. today introduced its newest adaptation of the most sustainable multipurpose sports flooring, with additional features and colors inspired by the latest trends for school sports teams. The new MultiLino^™ collection offers the same professional sports performance and durability as the prior collection, with a new lower cost and lighter weight materials for quicker installation.

MultiLino was engineered to provide a safe playing surface for athletes while resisting damage from tables, chairs, high heels and street shoes during non-sport school or community events.

“There are a lot of Athletic Directors and Sports Facilities Managers with tight budgets and limited personnel,” stated Rich Ruhlin, Mats Inc. Chief Marketing Officer, “MultiLino keeps preservation and maintenance costs down without the need for a protective floor covering.”

There are two MultiLino sports systems for different levels of athletic activity. The FM version includes the linoleum sports surface with a high density PUR foam granulate underlayment.  The unique combination of materials provides a safer and more ergonomic floor that is ideal for low impact sports and multipurpose use including daycares, elementary schools, soccer, gymnastics, fitness studios and churches. WDK is the multi-layer multipurpose sports system with linoleum, wood and foam designed for high intensity competitive and recreational indoor sports including basketball, volleyball, floor hockey, inline skating and more.

Both MultiLino FM and MultiLino WDK systems feature eleven energetic color options that can be used in combination for accent areas or alone with or without game line paint. Matching welding rods are available for each color to create a seamless sealed hygienic floor.
