HVAC Efficiency With Loop™ Platform
The Link is a premier office building. Many of the tenants have established emissions reduction pathways to help them meet their sustainability goals. In an effort to reach them, Baltimore Aircoil Company was engaged to determine if its HVAC system could be enhanced without the downtime or complexities often associated with energy efficiency upgrades.

The Link is a premier Class A commercial office building at 200 Elm Street in Stamford, CT on the I-95 corridor between Boston and New York City. At over 550,000 square feet, it is the largest commercial property in Stamford and has several high-profile tenants, including Fortune 500 companies.
Many of the Link’s tenants have established emissions reduction pathways to help them meet their sustainability goals. In an effort to help tenants meet these targets and save electricity costs, A&M Property Management, who owns and operates the Link, engaged Baltimore Aircoil Company to determine if its HVAC system could be enhanced without the downtime or complexities often associated with energy efficiency upgrades.
The Loop™ platform integrates with existing HVAC systems, leveraging AI to optimize cooling tower performance without disruptive installation processes. A&M Property Management selected the Loop platform because of the existing BAC Series 3000 Cooling Tower onsite, and BAC’s familiarity with its performance curves.
Transition to the Loop platform was smooth. Integration with the Link’s Management System (BMS) only took two hours. The technology made an immediate impact, saving the Link electricity on day one.
Key Outcomes
- Rapid Installation: Two-hour installation
- Zero Downtime: Cooling system continues to operate during installation
- Immediate Efficiency Gains: 20% HVAC system energy savings
- Maintenance Ease: Lower upkeep costs from reduced strain on HVAC components
- No Upfront Cost: With the Loop platform’s Energy Performance Contract solution, A&M Property Management avoided capital expense and only pays BAC a portion of the savings that the Loop platform generates
As the cooling season gets underway in the US, Loop platform’s introduction to the Stamford office not only highlights the potential of AI in building management, but also the importance of non-disruptive innovation. Its rapid installation and immediate value underscore Loop’s role in setting a new standard for HVAC energy efficiency upgrades.
