STI’s Outdoor Button Eliminates Weather Worries

Despite what weather forecasters predict – rain, sun, heat, humidity, snow – STI’s new weather resistant Stopper^® Station is ready for it all.

The ADA Compliant, 2” weather resistant push button is designed for indoor or outdoor use. This durable momentary button is UL/cUL Type NM rated and is approved for outdoor applications (-31° to 150°F) without a protective cover. Equipped with daylight visible LED illumination – allowing it to be quickly identified – the button is reliable and includes two Form C contacts.

The tough polycarbonate shell, available in red, green, yellow, white, blue or orange, has a unique curved design that helps stop accidental activation while allowing legitimate use. Offered with standard or customized labeling (in virtually any language). Non-weather switch choices include: pneumatic, momentary, Key-to-Reset, Turn-to-Reset, Key-to-Activate.

For additional protection, several tough polycarbonate covers are available. Weather resistant button is listed to UL and cUL Type NM standards and is ADA Compliant.
